Whole Wheat Chillas
You will need ..

1 cup whole wheat atta-sifted.

2 tbsp curd.

1 ½ cup water
-
¼ onion-finely chopped (2 tbsp).

¾ tsp salt or to taste.

Pinch of roasted cumin (bhuna jeera) powder or chaat masala.
How to make Whole Wheat Chillas:

Mix the ingredients thoroughly to make a smooth batter of thickish pouring consistency making sure that all lumps are broken down.

Heat 1 tsp oil on a non-stick tawa. Pour 2 tbsp batter and spread into a circle using a spatula keeping the flame low.

After about 3-4 minutes, when the sides begin to rice and light brown patches appear on the lower surface turn and cook the other side. Serve with dahi.
Note:
For Meetha Chillas: Mix 1 cup whole wheat flour with ½ cup milk. Add enough water to get thick pouring consistency. Add 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp almond powder. Proceed from step 2.
