Nutritious Porridge
You will need …

3 tsp cracked wheat (dalia)

1 tsp ghee.

½ medium tomato-grated.

½ medium onion-grated
-
2 piece of lauki-grated (1/4 cup).

¼ tsp almond/cashewnut powder.

½ cheese cube-grated
-
¼ tsp salt.
How to make Nutritious Porridge

Heat ½ tsp ghee in a kadhai. Add dalia. Bhuno the dalia for 2 minutes. Remove from flame. Keep the dalia separately.

Again heat ½ tsp ghee in the kadhai and add the finely grated onion. Keep stirring till the onion start to turn golden.

Add the finley grated lauki and tomato. Stir the mix for 2-3 minutes and add salt.

Add the roasted dalia and 1 cup water, cover partially and leave on low flame for approximately 10 minutes till the dalia is well cooked.

Add almond /cashewnut powder as well as grated cheese.

Adjust consistency by adding water if thinner consistency is required. Serve with a dollop of fresh curd.
