½ cup well cooked rice

1 cup fresh curd

1 tsp sugar or puree of mango or banana or rooh afza.
How to make Curd Rise

Take ½ cup well cooked warm rice in a bowl.

Add 1 cup fresh curd. Mash lightly with a fork.

Add sugar or fruit puree or 1 tsp of fooh afza
This simple preparation usually suits the palate of most babies and is very filling and easy to digest too.
Curd Rise Tips:
Alternatively, the baby can be fed the popular south Indian version of curd rice modified to suit babies. For this, wash, soak and boil the rice. Keep it aside. Beat the curd and add salt to taste. Gently mix it with the cooked rice. For the seasoning, take a little hot ghee and splutter few mustard seeds (sarson) in it. Pour over rice mix. Mix well. Serve cold.
