Berry crumble

800g can pie apple

2 cups (300g) frozen mixed berries

1 tablespoon white sugar

½ cup (125ml) water

1 cup (120g) toasted muesli

2 tablespoons plain flour

1 tablespoons brown sugar

50g butter
-
½ cup (20g) corn flakes
How to make Berry crumble:

Preheat oven to moderate (180°C/160°C fan-forced).

Combine apple, berries, white sugar and the water in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring, until mixture is combined. Remove from heat.

Meanwhile, combine muesli, flour and brown sugar in medium bowl. Use fingertips to rub in butter; stir in corn flakes.

Place apple mixture in 2-litre (8-cup) ovenproof dish; sprinkle with muesli mixture. Bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until browned lightly. Serve with cream if desired.
