Berry crumble


You will need ,,,

  • 800g can pie apple

  • 2 cups (300g) frozen mixed berries

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • ½ cup (125ml) water

  • 1 cup (120g) toasted muesli

  • 2 tablespoons plain flour

  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 50g butter

  • ½ cup (20g) corn flakes

How to make Berry crumble:

  1. Preheat oven to moderate (180°C/160°C fan-forced).

  2. Combine apple, berries, white sugar and the water in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring, until mixture is combined. Remove from heat.

  3. Meanwhile, combine muesli, flour and brown sugar in medium bowl. Use fingertips to rub in butter; stir in corn flakes.

  4. Place apple mixture in 2-litre (8-cup) ovenproof dish; sprinkle with muesli mixture. Bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until browned lightly. Serve with cream if desired.
